As a group, veterinary professionals are some of the hardest-working, most self-sacrificing and determined caretakers I know. Thoughtful Life Counseling is here to make sure some of that hard work and caretaking is turned inward. My mission is to combine my insider’s knowledge of the veterinary field with the education and skills of a therapist in order to offer the best possible mental health services to my fellow veterinary professionals.
TLC Resources for Veterinary Professionals
30-Minute Complementary Consult
To assess whether we would be well matched for individual counseling, I offer a 30-minute complementary consult. This is your time to ask questions and get a sense of my counseling style.
This time is also available to anyone who would like to discuss their experience of mental wellbeing in the veterinary profession. I value each person’s insight and perspective and want my work to reflect our collective experience. Return to Top
Schedule a Complementary ConsultIndividual Counseling for Oregon Residents
This is the most personalized care I offer. In our time together we will explore the aspects of your life that are causing distress and formulate a two pronged approach:
- Immediate steps to relieve distress and provide a sense of control.
- In depth work that will ultimately provide you with the skills and knowledge to safeguard your mental health and wellbeing over the long term.
In an effort to make myself available to all, I have instituted a sliding scale which should match your income to an affordable session fee. At this time to do not accept insurance.
Unfortunately, due to licensing laws, I cannot offer this service more widely at this time. Return to Top
